:rocket: What’s New at GigLabs

Introducing Gigantik!

We’re proud to announce an exciting change we’ve been working on. We are renaming the NFT Bridge platform to Gigantik. Gigantik is the new name for our platform, and it represents our shared grand ambitions for what we can achieve leveraging NFTs and web3. We are excited about the future - and you should be too. We’re building this brand and the future of NFTs with you.

This release introduces the Challenges feature. Challenges allow you to select specific NFTs users have to collect over a defined time for the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards. Challenges will appear at the top of your collectors' My Collection pages. Learn more about Challenges.

Multiple Pack Reveal Videos

With this release, you can upload unique pack reveal and pack background videos for individual packs. Of course, you can still designate a default pack reveal video for your storefront. Still, when creating a pack, you’ll now have the option to choose a custom pack opening video and a custom pack background video. Since we’ve updated the previous Pack Video feature, you need to reconfigure your videos if you previously defined them at the site level.

New Minting & Listing Flow

We’ve made significant changes to our UI to simplify the process of creating NFTs. These changes make it easier to identify the differences between minting (on-chain) and listing (off-chain) updates. Learn more about Listings.

View Order Details

This release introduces new functionality to our Reporting tab. This feature lets you view the details of orders placed through your store. Order details include the Order #, Listing or Pack Name, Date, Wallet Address, Customer Email, Order Total, and the Order Status. Additionally, you can search orders using any of the above details and filter by date range.

Sale Discount Modifiers

We’ve made the following enhancements to Modifiers:

  • We’ve added an option to apply a Percentage Discount. This allows collectors who own a specific listing to receive a percentage discount in addition to the flat rate discounts offered previously.
  • We’ve added accompanying text in the marketplace that displays modifier offer details. Additionally, collectors who own a specific listing will see a strikethrough in the original price replaced with the price they’re eligible for.

Secondary Marketplace Analytics

We’ve supplemented our existing primary marketplace analytics dashboard with new secondary marketplace metrics. This feature gives you further insight into how the Secondary Marketplace is performing.

:wrench: Improvements & Enhancements

  • We’ve updated our UI to clearly indicate that Airdrops are only available for Limited Edition NFTs.
  • We’ve further improved our internal notification system that triggers alerts when minting, transfers, payments, or airdrop jobs fail. These alerts provide relevant details that help us understand the issues associated with the failure so we can quickly fix them.
  • We’ve enhanced our internal role capabilities, so our partners can contact our support team to make changes to traits and values.
  • We’ve enabled text compression to improve the website's overall performance.
  • Created a warning modal to display when updating traits that update listing on-chain metadata.
  • Added a warning message that displays when users try to copy a trait for a series that already has the same trait.
  • Optimized our API for retrieving the status of listings to decrease loading times.

:beetle: Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where in some cases, an error occurred when clicking the “Marketplace Settings” hyperlink that appears when attempting to add a badge to a listing.
  • Fixed an issue where pack reveal videos were stuck on a white screen when using Safari.
  • Fixed an issue in Safari where the sale price was line-wrapped when viewing My Collection with items for sale in the P2P marketplace.
  • Fixed an issue where an Auction name was not formatted properly on mobile.
  • Fixed an issue where users could not scroll down to view the bottom trait of a series on the Traits page in Firefox.
